Top Grime & Rap Acts Honoured at GRM Daily Rated Awards 2020

The GRM Daily Rated Awards 2020 were streamed on Youtube and Ratedawards September 9^th, celebrating black music in the UK. Julie Adenuga and Mo Gilligan hosted the event that included acceptance speeches from each of the winners, brandishing their coveted black and gold trophies.

The statue trophies depict in three-dimension the GRM Daily Rated Awards logo of a black, solo singer, performing. Achieved in black cast acrylic, heavy to hold and standing 360mm tall, each is mounted on a gold plated base, laser engraved with the winner’s details. A spokesperson for the Awards reported that “EFX were a pleasure to work with and brought our vision to life, perfectly”.

An online poll decided the winners. These included J Hus, who picked up the Album of the Year for Big Conspiracy, Stormzy & Dutachavelli won the Track of the Year and a special Legacy Award honoured Dizzee Rascal for “his contribution to sculpting the sound of grime and changing the face of British music forever.”
