Sell Out Event For Mr Vegas Nordic Darts Masters Copenhagen

Last month, the PDC World Series of Darts returned to Copenhagen, where the top darts talents battled it out across two days in the ‘Mr Vegas Nordic Darts Masters’. Competing for a piece of Nordic artistry realised in solid metal and wood.

Broadcast live on ITV4 in the UK, Mr Vegas Nordic Darts Masters was the latest competition in the darts calendar. As part of a series of global tournaments that take place around the world designed to grow the game in new regions. The tournament featured 8 of PDC’s biggest names competing against 8 challengers from the Nordic and Baltic region. In this fourth staging of the event, it was an absolutely sell out with over 4,000 fans in attendance on each night, the atmosphere was electric!

On the night Gerwyn Price took the win against Rob Cross in the final, cheered on by a partisan crowd at the Forum Copenhagen, winning the coveted trophy and the £20,000 top prize! From the winning photos, he looked absolutely elated with his trophy! That winners feeling!!

Nordic Symbols

The design, inspired by a dart board has a nod to the Nordic origin’s in Copenhagen with the striking symbols engraved onto the 24ct gold plated aluminium, then set onto the wooden board backdrop, on top of a plinth style 24ct gold plated aluminium base. The client wanted a link to the wider Nordic region and that the shield be similar to a dart board with the symbols centre stage. We hope you agree how fantastic the trophy looks held up by the winner Gerwyn Price!
