Punchy Numerical Design For Facepunch Studios

Facepunch Studios is an independent, self-published video game developer based in Birmingham, UK. They were founded in 2004 by Garry Newman, and since have gained widespread recognition for their titles Garry’s Mod and Rust – two of the most popular Steam games of all time.

This year they introduced a long service recognition package to celebrate their employees that have reached the 10 year milestone with Facepunch. Part of that package was a wonderful award created by EFX that was personally engraved for each recipient, “We had a presentation ceremony where each recipient received their award, it was a fantastic time getting the team together… “it was a joy to see our amazing employees recognised for their years of service with such a great trophy!”

Cast Acrylic Award

The award is entirely cast acrylic, using a combination of Pantone Matched red, clear and printed dark blue. The zero part of the 10 is a representation of their logo with the crosses suspended inside the clear acrylic, giving the floating appearance. A striking award for an exciting company!
