Dinner’s Up For Butternut Box Bark Awards
Think of your favourite fresh food delivery box but this time it’s for your beloved dog! Butternut Box delivers delicious, human-quality meals for dogs, full of freshly prepared ingredients, straight to customers’ doors. All meals are made with human-quality meat and vegetables, gently cooked to create simple, tasty and complete meals, and created with the right balance of vitamins and minerals for dogs of every age. Butternut was founded by two friends, Kev & Dave, after seeing the benefits that home-cooked food had on Dave’s poorly rescue dog, Rudie. Butternut’s mission is to deliver health and happiness to dogs and their humans all over the world.
Alongside creating delicious food for our furry friends, they work with a number of charities, build new shelters for rescue dogs and also donate meals to those less fortunate each time a new dog signs up. Their BARK (Butternut Annual Recognition and Kudos) awards are held internally every Christmas, but were newly launched last year to their external suppliers on their Supplier Day. A testament to how fresh and delicious their product is, attendees of the awards even got to taste the product…which is dog food!
With the focus of the ‘Grow With Us and Make a Difference’ Supplier Day being sustainability, they launched a series of webinars that will continue to take place every quarter for their Raw Materials, Packaging and Logistics Partners so that they can continue to grow and learn along with their suppliers on the sustainability journey, sharing knowledge and insight as they go. Therefore the awards had to match this ethos! We pride ourselves at EFX on our sustainable awards and the wide variety we offer.
Sustainable Awards
The initial four paw print award designs focussed on their four core values, ‘Dedicated and Determined, Open and Honest, Genuine Care, Strive for Better.’ The 5th award was the sustainability award, aptly named the Green Bone award. The five awards were created out of solid oak with digitally printed detailing. A spokesperson for the event said – ‘The feedback was really positive, everyone loved that the shapes were a bit different and dog themed – a paw print and a bone and the fact that they were wooden, so sustainable was really important considering it was one of our focuses for the day.’
They also had this to say about working with EFX and their sustainable awards – “Sharron was so helpful and a pleasure to work with, the whole process was seamless and the final awards exceeded my expectations.”
We at EFX believe anything is paw-sible with our awards!
