Beauty And The ‘Best’ For The First TheIndustry.beauty Awards
On July 4th, leading business publication TheIndustry.beauty hosted its inaugural TheIndustry.beauty Innovators Awards at the Corinthia Hotel ballroom in Central London, to celebrate the great and the good of the British beauty industry.
As an insightful and inspiring online platform that filters offline with podcasts and events, founders of TheIndustry.beauty are driven by a shared goal of creating a forward-looking platform that supports and unites the beauty industry as it navigates the ever changing and growing market. They place partnership, trust and collaboration at the centre of everything they do and that shines through in their dealings with their team, the readers, the supporters and the clients of TheIndustry.beauty.
An awards evening was a natural next step for the publication to celebrate and bring together their readers and brands. The evening was the first of The Innovator Awards and began with three honorary awards presented to an individual, a brand and a retailer for their outstanding contribution to the British beauty industry, followed by a presentation ceremony with categories covering key business disciples (from experience, to collaboration and activation) and the best launches of the year.
Many well-known global brands and beauty celebrities came together at the Corinthia Hotel ballroom for a night of all things best in beauty and a luxury cocktail party, held by co-founders of TheIndustry.beauty. Caroline Hirons, Ruby Hammer, The Inkey List, Debenhams, Jessica Diner (of Vogue) and Sephora were all there to celebrate, to name a few. Winners on the night also included, Diptyque, Spack NK, Elemis and Boots, with such recognised and well-loved brands, this event definitely was the place to be!
Whats IN in Beauty
EFX created a shaped laminated printed acrylic award, using recycled acrylic and the brand colours. “We wanted a notable award that would ‘live on’ each year and become our signature. EFX kindly made us the IN from our logo and we were thrilled with the result.” – said Co-founder & TheIndustry.beauty CPO Antony Hawman. This style of logo award used year on year is a great way to firmly place your brand in the industry, as your award event grows each year.
It’s exciting to create awards for such a thriving, growing industry. The client had this to say about working with EFX – They were “super easy and accommodating. We are looking forward to 2025’s awards + additional awards that are in the works (watch this space).”
